Welcome to Class 6
One of the activities all children in the school take part in every morning is Wake and Shake.
The children dance, move and exercise to funky music. Mr Holmes teaches the children ten minutes of aerobics and is beginning to introduce Yoga into the routine, in the hall. Later in the year some class 6 children will have the chance to run wake and shake routines for younger pupils. It has been proved that exercise releases endorphines, which create a feeling of well-being. Pupils also take part in Brain Gym. This helps stimulate and improve co-ordination.
