Each day is fun filled, with numerous activities running at one time the children never find themselves with nothing to do.
Cooking, painting, 'den building', dressing up, music and playing are just a few activities which are offered.
Pre-school also have the full use of the outside space at Pencoys and take advantage of this whenever the weather permits. Pre-school also have their own enclosed outside area, joined to the classroom, where there are a variety of outdoor toys such as bikes, musical instruments and water and sand trays.

Early Years Foundation Stage
The EYFS is a play-based framework that acknowledges that every child is unique and that they learn and develop at different rates and in different ways.
OUTDOOR PLAY
Being outside is as important to the children as is indoor play. You will see in the photos the children can let their imagination run wild with unwanted junk, i.e wood shapes, tubes, guttering, other materials, ect. It may look like a lot of mess to us but to the children it has a meaning.

INDOOR PLAY
We have a lot of fun learning through play. The children have a lot of choice in what activities to chose, such as cooking, painting, gluing, gloop ect. The children love getting messy and dirty and it is part of their learning as you can see in the photos:
