Here are the fantastic teachers that dedicate themselves to providing a broad and creative curriculum for the children of Pencoys Primary School.

 

 

Anna Vaughn works with Foundation 2 children. She has taken on the role of Mrs Besford who is on materity leave after the birth of her second child.

Anna is enjoying her new position and the children in F2 are excited to have both Anna and Julie Wilkes to support them on their way through the year.

 

                             

 

Tracy Odgers is the Year 1 teacher. She is responsible for the Geography and History subjects of the curriculum, and holds the Subject Leader's role for these subjects. Tracy is also a very keen story teller and the children love hearing her stories and learning actions to them.

 

 

 

 

Sara Ridge is the Year 2 teacher and an Assistant Headteacher. She is a member of the Senior Management Team, is the Maths Subject Leader and manages the choir.

 

 

 

Angie Martin is the new Year 3 teacher. After moving from teaching F2, Mrs Martin is enjoying her new class.

 

 

 

 

  

Rebecca Johns is the Year 4 teacher. She is the Literacy and ICT Subject Leader and manages the Gardening Club.

 

 

                            

Angela Brookes is the Year 5 teacher. She is the Art Subject Leader.

 

 

Michael Holmes is the Year 6 teacher and also an Assistant Headteacher. He is a member of the senior management team, the Science Subject Leader and at the present time is the PE Subject Leader. He runs several clubs including football, running, netball and tag rugby (but not all at the same time!).

 

 

 

 

Val Boyd-Wallis is the SENCO and a member of the Senior Management Team.
